Meet the Pathfinder Board of Directors

Nine highly qualified men and women volunteer on the Pathfinder Outdoor Education Board of Directors, supporting our mission and goals by advising on management decisions, sharing professional advice, and fundraising. Meetings are held bi-monthly in the Tampa Bay, Florida area..

Molly Barnes, Secretary,has experience working with children of all ages. She received a BA from Brown University, and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. For the last twenty-five years Molly has served as the co-director and a teacher at the upper elementary and middle school levels of SunFlower School in Gulfport, Florida. Molly's husband, Andrew, is CEO of the Times Publishing Company. The Barnes are avid outdoors people and major supporters of several environmental groups.

Matthew Elsey

Matthew Morrow received his undergraduate degree from Rice University and law degree from Stetson in St. Petersburg. Besides his St. Petersburg law practice, Mr. Morrow and his wife Virginia spend their summers managing the family business called Morrow’s Nut House in Cape May, New Jersey. The Morrows have two children, Nicolas and Elena, and because Ms. Morrow was born in Madrid, the family is bi-lingual and frequently travels to Spain to visit relatives.

Edward F. Rawson is currently Dean of the Middle School at The Canterbury School of Florida in St. Petersburg. He has been in the education profession for over twenty-seven years, after earning his degree in elementary education and psychology from Eckerd College. His wife of thirty years, Kitty, also an Eckerd alumnus, works at Eckerd College, and both celebrated the graduation of their two sons from college last May.
